How RoadPrism works
Review synchronized cameras
RoadPrism joins consecutive one-minute files from the same drive event into one continuous timeline and keeps every available camera aligned during playback and seeking.
Load embedded telemetry
When a clip contains compatible telemetry, you can display speed, gear, steering, pedals, driver assistance, and turn signals.

RoadPrism recognizes the current TeslaCam filenames for six camera positions and shows whichever views are present in each event.

FLEXIBLE CLIP EXPORT
Export clips with or without telemetry
Choose the camera and clip segment you want, then decide whether the exported video should include RoadPrism's telemetry display.
- Leave Overlay off to download the untouched original MP4
- Load telemetry and turn Overlay on to include the telemetry display
- Overlay exports show speed, gear, steering, pedals, driver assistance, and turn signals
- Rendering happens locally and may take about as long as the clip
Export timing: An overlay export must play and render the entire clip. A 60-second clip will generally take about 60 seconds to finish. Keep the page open until the download starts.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Your footage stays on your device
RoadPrism reads the files you select through your browser. It does not upload selected TeslaCam videos or extracted telemetry to a RoadPrism server.
Because playback, telemetry extraction, and optional overlay rendering happen locally, performance depends primarily on your computer, browser, and the number and size of the clips.
