Your TeslaCam footage stays with you

RoadPrism is designed to review selected TeslaCam clips locally in your browser, without sending those video files or their embedded telemetry to a RoadPrism server.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

What RoadPrism processes locally

When you choose a folder, your browser grants RoadPrism temporary access to the files you selected. RoadPrism groups recognized MP4 filenames, creates local playback references, synchronizes available cameras, and can extract compatible embedded telemetry.

That work happens on your device while the page is open. Closing or refreshing the page clears the selected clip session.

What the RoadPrism app does not collect

  • Selected TeslaCam video files
  • Telemetry extracted from those files
  • Your Tesla vehicle identification number
  • User account information, because RoadPrism does not currently require an account
  • Payment information, because RoadPrism does not currently process payments

Website hosting and security data

Like most public websites, RoadPrism's hosting and security providers may process standard connection information such as an IP address, browser type, request time, and operational security cookies. This information is separate from the TeslaCam files you select in the browser.

Analytics and advertising

RoadPrism does not currently include advertising trackers or product analytics. If that changes, this page should be updated before the new collection begins.

Future features

Features such as user accounts, cloud libraries, subscriptions, support forms, or server-side video processing would require additional data practices. RoadPrism will describe those practices here before introducing such features.

Independent application

RoadPrism is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. Tesla and TeslaCam are trademarks of their respective owner.
